San Felo Magliano in Toscana Grosseto Italy

Wines that evoke the flavours, colours and aromas of our territory

The passion for the cultivation of the vine and for the rural traditions, combined with the desire to actively contribute to the promotion of the land of the Tuscan Maremma, led in 2001 the Vanni family, Maremma Doc, to realize a dream: the San Felo Wine Estate with an area of about 50 hectares with 34 hectares of harmonious  vineyards.

Wisdom, experience, peasant patience, with the innovative enthusiasm of young entrepreneurs careful to invest in new techniques: these are the factors that have allowed San Felo to obtain wines that enhance the eno-cultural heritage of the Tuscan Maremma handed down from generation to generation, with careful respect for nature.

To stay tied to tradition, the company cultivates Sangiovese and Vermentino to produce both Morellino di Scansano DOCG and DOC Maremma Toscana .
However, being a young and innovative company, also international vines are cultivated such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Nero and Viognier obtaining the maximum expression of these products.
Our goal is to produce a limited quantity of bottles characterized by high quality, assuring maximum satisfaction to those who buy our wines.

Tuscan Maremma

Today the Maremma has become one of the most important areas suited to viticulture, but it has not always been so. In fact the word maremma indicates any low and marshy area near the sea, where the tomboli, or the strings of coastal land, prevent the water courses from flowing freely into the sea causing stagnation, creating marshes and swamps.

San Felo Magliano in Toscana

A young, highly – engaged company, projected towards the future

In 2014 the company SOL.MAR. S.p.A. di Scarlino (GR)  decided to invest in San Felo by acquiring shares of capital, thus further increasing its corporate assets.
Strongly oriented to the optimization of resources, the company is structured so as to allow autonomously each stage of processing, from the cultivation of grapes to harvesting, processing, bottling and packaging.
To carry on this fascinating, but at the same time not easy, task is Federico Vanni, president of the Board of Directors, whose  enthusiasm  for viticulture started at the early age of 17 and has driven him to strike out on new daring projects. His wines, therefore are an accurate and authentic reflection of his passion for the land.
Federico, a young man who, above all, loves his land and the generous fruits that it yields to those who respect and appreciate them; the attachment to the Tuscan Maremma, to its beauties and its traditions that have been  handed down over the years in San Felo, can also be found in the particularity of the names of some wines.
